There's nothing quite like a visit home to recharge the batteries and put a smile back on your face!  For the first time in two years, I was lucky enough to escape the snow, as usually happens, and Christchurch truly put on the most spectacular Autumn weather.  Being back in Sydneytown means back to the daily grind, but after having my family-fix, I'm excited to see where the next six months will take me...x

Feeling Wheel...

I'm sure anyone who regularly practices yoga can relate to the fear that swells inside as you get closer to that one pose you simply cannot face...for me, it's wheel pose and no matter how many times I back bend into bridge, I can't find the strength to take that final step and lift.  Putting this down to my fear of back or neck injury and convincing myself that I simply don't have the arm strength, it's become a mental battle every time I step into the studio.  So, lucky Nath has been holding me up under my back for the past few nights as I try to find an easier way to overcome this fear.  And....I think I may have cracked it.  Just.  No more excuses x

Introducing my latest girl crush...Barbara Palvin!  She has been at the top of the modelling heap for a wee while now, but I simply can't get enough and am blown away everytime she steps in front of the lens.  In many ways she reminds me of a young Natalia Vodianova, something about those feline eyes...and that's Monday x

I stumbled upon this gorgeous wee cat yesterday and simply thought, damn, that cat looks happy!  Meditation is certainly something I've always been interested in and I am really, really trying...but it's tough.  Finding the time to sit down for 10 minutes in silence is not something we are trained to do - but the more you read about it, the more you realise just how important this silence is for our health.  On that note, I'm off to yoga to try and quieten my mind (if only for 90 minutes!).  Hope you all have a ohm-tastic weekend x

Upton Girl...

As you may be aware, I'm a huge fan of Kate Upton!  Finally, the fashion industry seems to be broadening their views of beauty and Upton's curvier frame is such a refreshing change in this industry.  Photographed here by Sebastian Faena with the most gorgeous baby animals, Upton looks like an absolute supermodel.  Perfect Friday inspiration...happy weekend everyone x
