Magdalena and Marant...

The June/July issue of Paris Vogue is très incroyable!  After stumbling upon the yoga-tastic shoot of Gisele yesterday, I discovered the gorgeous Magdalena Frackowiak sitting in my inbox this morning and got all gushy over the stunning pics.  It's fair to say that a large proportion of these looks include pieces by Isabel Marant and as a result, the whole editorial has an effortless sense of sporty-cool about it.  Add a small pop of pink to your look and even the most dreary weather won't get you down...x

Gisele for Vogue Paris...

Vogue Paris (June/July)
Photographs by Inez & Vinoodh

Gisele Bundchen can barely be described as a human being after seeing these shots from the June/July issue of Paris Vogue.  She is instead, a bikini-clad super-Amazon from another planet altogether.  All peace, love and yoga...Bundchen illustrates why she has the best bod in the business and why, even after the birth of her son, she is still as in demand as ever as a swimsuit model.  Whether you love her or hate her, Bundchen is a total babe and if yoga is the reason behind her toned and taut figure, where do I sign up?? x

Lover...

No doubt all you blog fiends have already seen these gorgeous pictures of Lover's White Magic collection...but I just couldn't stop thinking about them all day and had to post them myself.  Lover is famous for their delicate lace creations, and I love that they have taken the fragility of this gorgeous fabric to the extreme by creating a collection all in white.  With white usually reserved for the realm of the bride, this collection makes me want to throw on some black tights and ankle boots and rock one of these wee dresses during the day!  Absolutely stunning...x

There's nothing like a little bit of rodeo to get you in the mood on a Monday...especially when the gorgeous Aline Weber shows you how to do it best!  Photographed by David Vasilejevic for the June issue of Vogue Turkey, the stunning blonde takes Western to a whole new level.  Stunning styling by Katie Mossman make this editorial a sure fire winner.  Giddy-up x

Brrr...

If you live in Melbourne you will relate when I say...today was freezing!!  The weather has completely turned and winter feels like it has well and truly arrived.  Instead of heading out to a house party tonight, I have tucked myself up on the couch to watch Gossip Girl and poke through Pinterest.  Sometimes it's just too cold to be social...definitely the weather for chunky knitwear x

Magdalena for Vogue Germany...

As I combed Pinterest this afternoon, I stumbled upon this stunning editorial from Vogue Germany's January issue featuring the gorgeous Magdalena Frackowiak.  Photographed by Ben Hassett, Magdalena looks rock and roll chic in black layers and sequins and with her wild crazy curls flying about, it is fair to say I have hair envy...just a wee bit of inspiration for the weekend x

On a side note - if you haven't already joined Pinterest, get on board asap...endless procrastination ahead!

Anja Rubik and 25...

Anja Rubik is one of my favourite models and I have always admired her personal sense of style...so when I found out that she was the editor of her own magazine, I was beyond excited!  25 is the masterpiece of Rubik and her partner Sasha Knezevic, and is inspired by the 70s erotic magazine, Viva.  While there is no disputing the 300-page glossy will be packed full of nudity, it's primarily categorised as a fashion magazine and has been created to celebrate women, their bodies and their sexuality.  First launched in 2009, the new issue will be released at Cannes this week and I cannot wait to see the response.  With all female photographers such as Annie Leibowitz and Ellen von Unwerth contributing to the first issue, I can only imagine that 25 will be a book you will want to display on your coffee table rather than sliding it beneath the bed...x

Lara Stone for Vogue Netherlands...

Images courtesy of Fashion Gone Rogue

For the May issue of Vogue Netherlands, Lara Stone takes the spotlight in a stunning editorial photographed by Josh Olins.  Always a favourite of mine, I love how this girl can have so many different looks.  Recently I posted an editorial from Vogue Turkey's April issue where Stone stood out in bursts of colour and eighties styling (here)...but I must admit, I think she looks best as above; soft, blonde and with that cheeky gap-toothed grin that has made her so famous.  Often I feel models too easily lose their sense of identity, taking on the many various roles their photographers ask of them...and while fashion is ever-changing, sometimes it's nice to see stripped back beauty, clean and simple x

Moss by Terry...

Everyone loves Kate Moss.  No matter how many supermodels come and go, she will always remain on top...simple, chic and undoubtedly cool.  In this shoot for the June/July issue of US Harper's Bazaar, Moss is lensed by quirky superstar, Terry Richardson.  Usually famous for his slightly off the cuff editorials, Richardson has taken a step back from his signature over-the-top style and captured Kate in all her natural glory.  Simple hair and make-up showcase the models delicate features and with simple black and white styling, Moss looks effortless and elegant.  While I love seeing Moss with her hair messed up, a deep smokey eye and pouting for the camera...I am actually in awe of the simplicity of this shoot.  What do you think?  More Moss please...x
